Shelley and her team were absolutely delightful! We learned so much, met some really nice people, and tasted some delicious pastries. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about food and baking. Well worth a visit for a cooking / baking class.
Belleville is hands down my favorite bakery in Burlington! Their croissants are truly the best I’ve ever had flaky, buttery, and simply perfect. The shop itself is beautiful and cozy, and the service is just as sweet. The lady who runs it is incredibly kind and lovely. I find myself wanting to come back every chance I get. A true gem in the city!
My boyfriend and I stopped in here the other day for some treats and we were sooo impressed! Everything we had was amazing but our favorite was the almond croissants! If they have these when you stop in, definitely try one. The staff was all really nice too and the atmosphere is great
This place is seriously amazing. I’d walked by it for years and always wanted to go in but I always missed opening hours, but last weekend I was finally able to stop in! The food was to die for and the workers and Shelley were so kind and helpful. Everything looked delicious so they kindly explained what everything was and what they recommended. It was so tasty I had to come back again this week! It was so hard to limit myself because I just wanted to try it all!
I can’t express how much I love this place. I have yet to have anything bad/don’t like, Shelley and her staff are friendly and welcoming, and the baked goods and sandwiches are top notch. You honestly can’t go wrong with whatever you pick, but I love the cheesecakes (any variety) and the tuna sandwiches. Also…the Han Solo artwork on the wall is amazing. Oh man, almost forgot the pain au chocolat! That’s a must try.
The smell from this bakery is intoxicating. The cinnamon snail made from the croissant trimmings are delicious as are the quiche and cookies, especially the orange ginger!
Stopped in this morning after wanting to visit for a long time, the treats and coffee were great! We got the “I am proud of me” banana cake and a strawberry rhubarb brioche bun. So delicious and the owner is so lovely. Definitely will be coming back!
Wonderful place. Croissants are perfectly buttery and flaky. Coffee is delicious. Owner is present to chat with patrons and make sure the quality stays top notch.
Everything we had a Belleville was phenomenal, even the coffee! The textures were absolutely perfect with flavors packed into every bite. None of the pastries were too sweet, all were simply perfectly balanced. The Mushroom Bacon Galette was also delicious and had a wonderfully buttery crust. You do not get charged sales tax if you get at least three items, so be prepared to grab a few different things to try!
I finally had the chance to check out this place! I popped in as soon as they opened today. I got two cinnamon snails and one strawberry rhubarb brioche bun, and both were absolutely delicious! There’s limited indoor seating, but the atmosphere is great. Plus, I got to meet the owner, and she was so nice.
